Valentine’s at Jackfish Dundees

With Valentine’s on the Sunday this year, we’re running Chef Audie’s Specials Menu all weekend!  We’ve done in house tastings and every item is staff approved with a few real highlights…. (Our advice?  Save room for dessert and try the spicy ice cream!)

Friday Feb 12th – Sunday Feb 14th (After 5:00pm)

Starters:

Chef Audie’s own double top secret recipe Mushroom Soup:  It’s earthy. It’s mushroomy. It’s thick. It’s soul food and you’ve never had anything like it…ever.     Cup- 4.75   Bowl- 7.99

Fresh Cauliflower Dip:  It’s hard to believe this started as a vegetable. Super cheesy, savoury and served with tortilla chips for dipping… 10.99

Shrimp Tacos:  3 soft tortillas filled with fresh sautéed garlic shrimp and crunchy coleslaw, topped with thousand island and in-house made salsa.  Plated with spring mix on the side…12.99

Grilled Chicken & Mozzarella Salad:  Fresh and Tender chicken breasts topped with a thick layer of softened mozzarella then laid over a bed of spring mix served with a light, homemade balsamic dressing…(This is an entree size for smaller appetites)…15.99

For our Vegetarian friends, Creamy Pesto Pasta:  Super creamy, homemade pesto sauce served over spaghetti noodles.  Garlic toast served on the side… 15.49  (Add Chicken for 4.00 or Prawns for 5.00)

Cajun Prawn Steak:   6oz. Sirloin grilled to your liking and topped with 6 fresh cajun spiced, sautéed prawns.  Served with your choice of 2 sides…25.99

Larger appetite?  Add these prawns to any of our larger cut steaks for 6.99 (above regular menu price)

BBQ Rajun Bacon Wrapped Steak:   Cajun BBQ marinated steak, wrapped in bacon and grilled to your liking.  Drizzled with Chef’s own flavourful cajun BBQ sauce and plated with your choice of 2 sides… 24.49

Larger steaks may also be prepared this way for 5.99 (above regular menu price)

Sides include any two of the following:  fries, onion rings, baked potato, stuffed potato, mashed potato, rice, house tossed salad, caesar salad or seasonal veggies.

Dessert:

Homemade Apple Pie Rose served with either vanilla or Chef Audie’s own spicy ice cream…6.99

Find us at Mile 52 on the Alaska Highway. Remember to turn right off the highway at the first exit just as you are coming into the business area of Charlie Lake.
